Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress most commonly known for her role as Bo in the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. Silk is the Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories include going to play rehearsals and watching her mother work. Silk made several commercials while she was still a child. In 1997, she earned an associate's degree from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999 to continue her acting. Then she moved into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. In 2009, the couple were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. Silk was cast in the role as Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk got pregnant in the course of production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in a Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter on the 20th of June, 2013 that the production was set to begin on Season 4. The 4th of June, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named them the Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large online fan base.
